We are sending this email to say a huge thank you for how perfectly everything went on our wedding day.  Everyone was so happy with the way the banquet hall turned out, it looked so beautiful.  Also the food was amazing, we had so many people complement on it.  We appreciate all of the running around you did on Saturday, from the last minute plan to go with an outdoor ceremony, to driving all of the bridal party in the golf carts, to helping Tyler and I do our early online flight check-in.  All of your efforts were greatly appreciated.  And we also want to thank you for your help on the Sunday morning, we know there were some problems with lost items. Caitlyn said that you were a huge help!

We hope the rest of your summer is going well.  We know that you said each weekend from now until the fall is booked solid with weddings.  We hope you are finding some time for yourself to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather we have had.

It could not have been better. You were so well organized we could find no fault anywhere. It was all perfect right down to the weather. The food was fantastic and we have had nothing but compliments from everyone. All are asking how we found out about this beautiful resort. I just wanted to email you and let you know how much I appreciated your help when we stayed at the Pinestone Resort on June 9^th with the group from the Be….Cause Fundraiser for cancer.   The course of events that happened were certainly not expected for me, especially including a trip to the local hospital.  I think I briefly mentioned to you that it was my first time away without my family in over 14 years, as my son has medical needs and I always felt I needed to be with him.  I was really looking forward to coming to Pinestone and enjoying a weekend away with the ladies.  Despite what happened, I truly enjoyed being away and your resort is really beautiful!  It is people like you that help people feel comfortable when staying away from home.  I can’t thank you enough for your help in the hotel room and especially coming to the hospital to pick up my friend Dianne and myself and bring us back to the resort.  I spoke about what a relaxing and friendly place the Pinestone is to my husband when we got home.  I explained to him what had happened and he was very touched with your kindness.  He would like to bring our son and come there for a weekend getaway sometime.  My son loves the outdoors and especially swimming, so I think he would have a blast! 

Anyway, just a HUGE thank you once again!   I was very touched by your thoughtfulness and your willingness to help out without hesitation.  You are truly a kind person!

Just a quick e-mail to let you know how much we enjoyed the wedding dinner this past Saturday as well as our stay at Pinestone on Sunday night.

The food was great and every staff member we encountered had a smile and a greeting for us.

At a small gathering on Sunday afternoon we all lamented how difficult it is to find prime rib being served in many places these days and none better than you do it at Pinestone.

This past weekend (March 16-18), I was a guest at the Pinestone Resort attending a birthday celebration.

I just wanted to write to you to let you know how impressed I was with every aspect of The Pinestone Resort. The venue itself is beautiful and the meals and accommodations were superb. But I was especially impressed with the excellence of the staff. Every staff member I encountered  - in reception, the dining areas, housekeeping – was, without exception, exceptionally friendly, personable and helpful. Every request was immediately accommodated. It seemed to me that the primary mandate of the resort personnel was to do everything possible to ensure that my stay was a positive experience from start to finish and it certainly was.

Please extend my sincere appreciation to these remarkable people. Many thanks for making my weekend so enjoyable.

Hi my name is Amy and I am a bridezilla. 

Dear Sonia,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank  you and your dedicated staff for providing such an outstanding and memorable day for Christine & Ryan Blair's wedding service and dinner celebration at Pinestone.  Our family and friends are still emailing and phoning us complimenting the high quality dinner menu, your staffs exceptional service during the meals and room accommodations at the resort. 

To be candid, we had 150 of our closest friends and family join us at Pinestone to celebrate Christine & Ryan's wedding and some of those guests traveled up to 20 hours, each way, to be there with us. Our guests started arriving as early as Thursday, others on Friday while some made the drive on Saturday morning. Everybody felt relaxed and at home in their rooms, while the newly renovated Spa received great reviews and was a really big hit. The new white gazebo by the lake looked just amazing! Dressing it with the large white kissing balls around the gazebo's fascia created a very comfortable setting for the wedding service and also allowed for many memorable pictures. It was also nice to see the Haliburton fall colors starting to turn, and really...the weather couldn't have been any sunnier for our outdoor wedding!

We're really not that surprised with everyone raving about the high quality food, because it was only in February when the Blair's and ourselves had the pleasure of tasting and selecting the dinner menu.  If you recall, your chef James took time out of his busy schedule to explain the dishes and answer any questions that we had with the menu. We were confident that chef James's would be true to form for the wedding and Jessie with her infectious smile was continuously helping coordinate the timely flow of meal servings and graciously helped us with those last minute requests.

We would also like to express our thanks to you Sonia, for all the assistance in the arranging of the wedding.  You did an outstanding job helping us in the planning of the event, decorating the ballroom and answering our many e-mails and questions in order for this special day to run so smoothly.

We would also like to give "two thumbs up" and thank Dan, Collin and Gary for their exceptional service and hospitality while tending bar and going that extra mile to help our guests make that afternoon/evening a special one. The two and a half hours between the end of the wedding ceremony and the beginning of dinner vanished in no time at all. 

Sonia, we were obviously anxious before the wedding but we really didn't expect the end results to be anything less than " Outstanding"! Pinestone and it's courteous and dedicated staff never let us down and we are so very grateful for such a memorable stay at Pinestone.

My friends and I live in Algonquin Highlands and frequently like to go out for lunch together. When our friends from the city come up we all like to go to lunch together to someplace special. Pinestone is a very nice facility and the dining perfect. It has seen different management over the years and hopefully under your management it will be excellent.

It is not often that someone takes the time to greet and chat with guests and then go that extra mile.  We really did appreciate your gesture.

We will definitely be back again soon.

Jessie, I wanted to send you a little note to thank you and the team for a wonderful stay at Pinestone. All of the staff from the servers, to the people at reception and out at the golf coarse made our stay one of the best we have had. (I didn't use the spa services but I heard good things around that as well) I know providing customer service is a team event but every team has individuals who step up and go beyond what we would normally expect from them. There were several individuals that contributed to what was a fantastic stay but I wanted to specifically recognize one of your servers, Stephanie. Her approach appeared so natural, effortless and provided in such a friendly, effective, and pleasant manner I was extremely impressed. (please send her my thanks again for the directions) Mount Pleasant prides itself in providing superior customer service to the families we serve and I can say because of people like Stephanie Pinestone can be very proud of the service it provided to us.

Hi Jessie,

I originally planned on writing to Sonja after Christine's and Ryan's big day in September to recap our decision to share their experience with the staff and Pinstone Resort and Conference Centre in Haliburton. Our selection criteria was vast with key factors such as location, service, accommodations, meal selection and obviously cost. We ultimately decided with Pinestone because of the Blair's family history in Haliburton and that we would be getting superior value for all those attending the wedding, from far or close by. Each of us want the occasion to be perfect and everything touched and/or experienced at Pinestone will add to Christine & Ryan's "life changing" event.

So why am I writing a note that I said I wouldn't write until mid September. It's simple...Outstanding service and food preparation experienced by Christine, Ryan, Dan, Libby, Carol and I at the product tasting, and selection, last Saturday. The entire experience exceeded our expectations and for the rest of the week-end we raved about the food preparation and how we were catered to.

All of the staff was very courteous, professional and a provided a genuine desire to make our dinner experience, the very best that it could be. Thanks to Jessie, Colin, James and Lisa for providing such a memorable dinner experience. Moreover, we really appreciated the personal waiting service by Lisa and Colin and an in-depth overview of the meal preparation from the Chef, James.

Thanks again for a memorable dinner had by all and we're really looking forward to another memorable experience at Pinestone in September.
